[EXPIRED] 6 Vivitar (ALL Kiron/Komine) Lenses!!

PRICE DROP AGAIN!

Here is my mini-collection of Vivitar lenses. Took me quite a long time to find a few of these, im probably going to regret selling a few of them. But i've got my eye on the pentax smc 12-24mm

All lenses come with front and rear caps, and all are pristine (no fungus, haze, scratches, dents) unless noted. Blades are all oil free, and aperture ring clicks smoothly.

All photos were taken with the vivitar CF 28mm 2.0 that's for sale. (except for the group shot and the photos of the 28mm cf. Those were taken with the pentax M 50mm 1.4.

Prices are at the bottom of this page. Price does not include shipping (shipping is at cost to location) i usually choose whatever is cheaper (priority or 1st class) its up to the buyer though.

Im willing to consider offers!

I'll ship worldwide as long as buyer is willing to pay extra shipping cost

Paypal, cashiers check, money order accepted.

so without further delay.....

Vivitar series 1 70-210mm f/3.5 vs. 1 (Kiron)
Serial # 22148288

I think selling this lens will hurt the most.... sharp at entire range with a constant max aperture of 3.5. the only down side is the weight (its quite hefty). Solid metal and glass material with a rubber focusing grip. Its close to 900g! but with that being said, its very well built and has survived the test of time. Doesnt wiggle or creak like some cheap plastic lens. Contrast and color reproduction is excellent. there is also a spot on the front element coating, but doesnt affect photos.

Vivitar 28-85mm f/2.8-3.8 (Kiron)
Serial # 22209555

Also known as the "stovepipe". made of solid metal like the series 1 lenses. I believe this lens predated the series 1 line. A legendary lens known for its sharpness and contrast photos. Also a hefty one (~700g?). This lens is quite difficult to find. Pending Payment

Panagor 35-100mm f/3.5 (Kiron)
Serial # 802966

Vivitar sold Kiron made lenses in Europe under that Brand name "Panagor". Made from the same line as the legendary Panagor 90mm f/2.8 macro. This lens provides a fast useable range that tops out at 100mm. Very solidly built. Pictures come out crisp and colorful like all Kiron lenses. This lens is so clean it looks like it was never used. All the markings on the lens is bright and colorful. Silver aperture ring is signature of panagor lenses.

Vivitar 28mm Close focusing f/2.0 (Komine)
Serial #28308620
Sold

This is a Very Rare lens! Superbly fast at f/2.0 and can focus down to 1:5. The lens can be as close as a few inches away from the subject. Like all Komine lenses, pictures come out sharp and colorful. All the photos here (except for pictures containing this lens) were taken with this lens. I dont have the original front lens cover, currently a metal 49mm Honeywell Pentax lens covers the front element.

Vivitar 28mm f/2.5 (Kiron) Screw Mount
Serial #22518514

A Kiron made wide angle with the famous Kiron Clarity and Sharpness. Very fast with a max aperture of f/2.5. This lens will need a Screw mount to K mount converter to work on our cameras. AV mode and M mode functions perfectly on digital cameras.

Vivitar 135mm f/2.8 (Komine) screw mount
Serial #28428166

Another Komine wonder-lens. Komine has a notoriety for making lenses that take sharp photos and this is no exception. Has a built in retractable lens hood to prevent flares. Also works in AV and M modes and will need a converter to fit on our digital cameras.

Hey Jack, sorry about that. But just like Lukey said, i really do want these lenses sold. I've been itching on whether or not to sell and save for the 12-24 and LBA finally bit me hard.
You PM'd asking availability, but Miserere PM'd ready to buy. I honestly didnt know the lens was going to be this popular, otherwise i wouldve asked for more.
i had already been turned down by another buyer, passing on a few PM's because of him, (which is ok, buyer has a right to change his mind). So when Miserere said hes ready to buy at asking price, i had to bite.
again, i apologize.

I guess this is somewhat my fault, Jack. I apologise for this incident, but it's basically like GatorPentax explained it.

As a seller, I have held lenses for up to 72 hours because a buyer said he was going to pay me "tomorrow". In the meantime other people were wanting to buy and I turned them down because somebody had promised me they would make payment and I took them at their word. You can guess what happened: They never made payment, and when I contacted the other interested buyers they had bought something else or found the same lens on eBay.

I'm all for being nice (check out my feedback for proof) but I'm no longer stupid. When I offer a lens, it goes to the first person that tells me to send them a payment request to their PayPal address or who requests my address to make payment immediately. When dealing with popular lenses at attractive prices, it's imperative that you act quickly because there will be many others out there wanting them also.

Jack, I hope you harbour no hard feelings towards me or GatorPentax.

Best,

--M.

I would have to agree. If I'm really serious about buying something, My PM reads:
Looking at XXX Lens and I'm prepared to take it right now. My Paypal address is ptzxxxx@xxxxxx.com Please send me the shipped cost and a money request through Paypal. You'll have your payment as soon as I get it.

That way there is no question about the intention. I've sold here as well and lost more than one deal waiting on the person that PM's first asking availablity or just a luke warm expression of interest.

Now Gator, Had I known you were doing this, I might have considered a trade with my Sigma 10-20mm. Just asleep at the switch....
