[EXPIRED] Pentax K10D body with 4 yr warranty

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Pentax K10D body with 4 yr warranty

Asking Price
$440

Item Description
This camera was purchased 12/13/2007 new from a local camera store. I have recently purchased a K20D and need to sell this body. It was the only way I was able to get the purchase past my wife. I wish I could keep it, but she says it must go.
I have never had a problem with it. The body is in mint condition with approximately 11,000 actuations. There has been a plastic display protector on the camera since new and I will keep it on. You can remove it if you wish. No cracks, scratches or marks. Never been wet, dropped or mishandled. I'm a little crazy when it comes to the care of my camera equipment.
The best part is, it includes a Mack 5 year warranty, so there are 4 years left. I purchase extended warranties with all my cameras. Mack is fantastic to deal with according to friends that have used them. It was properly registered and the necessary paperwork will be included as seen in the photo. They charge a $20.00 transfer fee and the purchase price INCLUDES THE TRANSFER FEE.
Everything that came with the camera will be included. This auction is for the body only. If you have any questions, please ask.
I also have it listed on eBay if you want to use the 30% live.com discount. The buy it now price is $460 to cover the additional fees. Item number: 330291065784

Forgot to mention. The Magic Lantern book is also included. I have made notes in it and won't charge extra for those. LOL

There is a link in the listing phase to "Manage Attachments". Then you just choose the photo you want to upload. Hope this helps...

honestly the only thing holding me back from purchasing this is the chance that I might have to wait up to 60 days to get the MS cashback. if I knew I would get it back sooner or even right away, I would have bought this already.

You will have to wait 60 days...actually more like 75 days because it takes a while to transfer from live.com to paypal and then into your bank account. It's just the way it is. A small minority are getting theirs immediately for small cashback values. I put mine up on fleabay as well just in case. It's so cheap as a backup body, it's not funny...

No thanks on the trade. If this would have been a week ago, I may have. But I just ordered the 10-17 Fisheye. I really just need the money at this point.....or should I say my wife really wants the money.

30% discount?

I also have it listed on eBay if you want to use the 30% live.com discount.
Could someone explain to me what this discount is all about?
How do I sign up?
I am already an eBay member.
I can't stand Microsoft, but will gladly accept their discount.

30% discount - cont'd

Thank you Fuzzy for the link.
My next question is this:
What determines (in this case) cash back to be 30% and not 5 or 10?
I don't think this is one of the Frequently Asked Questions.

Sorry, I'm too lazy to dig deep and research.

It is a flat 30%. It had been 25%, down from the 30, than they increased it back up to 30%. Some days it is not available and I don't think anyone really knows when it will end. It's a gamble to wait honestly. All of us that have used it think about waiting, but don't want to miss out on the savings.

Funny though, according to my eBay account, 7 people are "watching" the sale. Why would anyone watch a "buy it now"? Odd, I could see an auction, but not a buy it now.

I'm actually surprised this isn't sold yet. My Tamron 70-300, which was mint, sold in literally minutes. Too bad eBay fees are so high or I would have lowered the price for the Buy it Now.

If you do register, make sure you use the same email for the live.com, paypal, and cashback accounts. I helped a co-worker the other night get set up in 5 minutes and he saved $114 on a snowmobile helmet. He was pretty happy
