If you do a search by the member name, this thread will not show up. Also, if you use the statistics tab, find posts/thread links in the member's profile, this thread will also not show up.

The only way I found that this thread shows up is in the member's profile, latest threads tab.

Having just posted my first few photos on the site. It got me to thinking it would be really cool but also very informative if you had a section to post photos by certain lenses only! Have a section based on primes only, then break down to the 21mm, 43mm and 77mm for an example. Also have a section based on zooms and manuals. It could help those of us to see examples of photos taken with certain lenses.

On a personal note I really appreciate this site and have found it a wealth of information and all the hard work you put into it.

This could be bad because a seller could change any of the terms without a record of any changes being made. But I used it to see if any price changes had been applied.

Here is a thread as an example. The first post shows no notifications of any changes being made, whereas the second post does show the "Last edited by ..." notification of change.

Could the "Last edited by ..." field be reinstated in the first post?

1. Thread closure for For-Sale threads
Ever wanted to delete a thread without marking it as sold? Now you can do so by selecting "Request Thread Closure" from the thread tools dropdown. This will move the thread to the 'expired' forum, in which your thread will be hidden.

See the attached screenshot for details.

2. 'Expired' forum
All threads with no activity (posts) for 90 days will now automatically be moved into this section. When manually closing a 'wanted' thread, it will also be moved to the 'Expired' section.

Other remarks:
-hiding permissions for the 'expired' forum aren't decided yet, but I'm planning to only let users see their own threads.
-all threads currently in the 'expired' forum have a thread title of 'expired'. All the expired titles will be restored, although this may take a while.
-all current threads in the 'expired' forum were moved based on first post date, and not last post date. Therefore, active threads may have been moved in error. Please contact me if you need any thread moved back to the F-S or wanted section.
