I've ordered all the parts to build another AR and I'm going to use this one to try and throw 22lr bullets 100 yards down a range. A simple bolt conversion lets me go from 5.56 Nato ammunition to 22lr which is much cheaper to shoot especially during this time of Gun hating Liberals and the rest of the Obamanation.
But for those who hunt and shoot for target practice, Pentax makes a less expensive line of hunting and target scopes that top around $150 call the Gameseeker. I chose the 4-16x50mm because I wanted a wide zoom range and bigger objective. My carbine length AR would have no trouble shooting out to 600 yards on iron sights but my vision isn't quite 20/15 anymore, this scope should help me see out that far and the reticule is also has bullet drop compensator marks.
Eventually I will take this build out to the range and post a range report here.
Anyone else out there with a Pentax scope?
