Phila. Flower Show

Phila. Flower show. March 1-8 adult tickets (advanced sales $22.00 tickets at the door $28.00 for adults).
Anyone interested in a get together for the show let me know. There are group rate tickets also for groups of 25 or more. So if there is a good interest and we can agree on a day, it's a great time, and so much to see, and the photo ops are outstanding. I have been to the show many times and i have found the first day is always the best.
Anyone in the area want to get together let's hear from you.

I, for one would be interested. Note also that the Longwood Gardens annual orchid show is happening at the same time (well from Jan 24 to March 31). I've seen the orchid show at the NY Botanical Gardens and if the Longwood show is anything like it, it should not be missed if you are in the area.
David, is the Philly flower show really crowded? Can you bring tripods? monopods?

Hi Salty.
I'm up for Longwood anytime. I have been to the Orchid show a couple of times. It's a great show, not as big as NY. but all the same it's a great show. As far as the Phila. Flower show being crowded the answer is yes, and that is for every day of the show. You can not use a tripod, but monopods are accepted. As for parking there is a parking garage almost across the street with plenty of parking (11th and Arch) easy in and out, and not very expensive.

Hi Dave!

This sounds wonderful. I don't have my daughter's competition schedule for this year yet, though. Until I get that (March is usually a pretty busy month) I can't say for certain that I could do this. But please keep me up to date on what you guys decide to do.
