PMA Sydney 26th - 28th June

For anyone who is interested, PMA Australia 2009 Imaging Technology Show, Sydney is on between 26th and 28th June at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.

I am going, and so I was wondering if there are other's who would like to meet up on either the Saturday or Sunday for a get together, maybe some lunch and a photoshoot afterwards. We could make a great day of it.

Just to repost what I wrote elsewhere:

I spent some time at the CRK Stand at PMA today, and got to play with a K-7 God I WANT ONE.

They had three K-7s, two with the new WR 18-55mm lenses and one with the 16-45 on it I think. One of the bodies also had the new battery grip on it.

I specifically asked the guy at the stand if these were the production models, and he told me they were, but I was disappointed to come home to find the exif on the photos I took saying Pentax K-7 ver 0.3 software. But, coming from a K10D user, I'm definitely impressed with ISO1600 and ISO3200 from the shots I took.

Saw Malcolm Kennedy of CR Kennedy fame floating around, and also heard one of the guys say the first shipment is expected within a fortnight...
