I'll be getting there at 1pm... and I have a few cell #s. Looks like it will clear up by then, too!

Too wet for me and my K100d - too bad was looking forward to it! Those who venture out have fun!

(Actually, a great day to test those weathersealed lenses and bodies, and my all-weather Kata bag.)
LOL...I was bike-riding up and down the lakeshore between Burlington and Jordan between 8:00am~2:00pm. For the last 2 hours, watched the black storm clouds roll in and hang over the lake. Fortunately, we managed to avoid the rain for the most part.

Must have been some moody photos from the PF meetup...or grumpy photogs.

Nice berries. Oh yeah, and thanks for publishing those "gangsta chipmunk" shots of me, Serge.

I'll upload some of my shots tonight (maybe even the group pano). It turned out to be a great day, even for non-weathersealed gear! I expect to see k100d post his shots later today...

Here are the photos I've uploaded so far (don't have my film back yet...): Pentaxforums.com Meet 6 - a set on Flickr

And this is my 400mm portrait of Mark's gangsta shooting spree:

Serge was too close to fit in the frame...

Overall it was a nice day to be on the Island.

(I have a vimeo video I'm trying to upload)

Spent most of the day getting the K-7 settings dialed in.

Nice shot of the suspicious looking orange cat. It didn't seem happy to see tourists on its island.

Nice shots, Augustmoon. Too bad you missed my "gansta shootin" on the boardwalk. With the K-7s audio recording, everyone could *hear* the awesome BRRRAAAPpppp noises that accompany those constipated expressions...

Here are some of my shots from the day:
TOtaxians

And, of course, the requisite interactive panorama (requires Flash 9+):
Toronto Pentaxians Meetup, Summer 2009

Best of all, here is Gooshin with his "serious Pentax shooter" setup:

That pano shot is really something. I don't think it was planned but I like how the people who appear in it more than once are standing on opposite sides of the tripod each time so you can't see the same person twice at the same time. Just a couple of clones hanging out on the pier.
