Same, i'll be giving the K200D a workout back after July 9th though for a short period. It'd be great to put faces to names. (mine is my avatar)

Sorry, hate Facebook. But the rest is all good - wish you guys luck.
Didn't the Zoo have a LRT connection - perhaps it's one of my dreams?

JC

the zoo was planned to have a connection Malvern center actually on teh RT but that died in 1990 with the "lets go" plan of the Pearson Liberals.

It might still be in the planning books however.

Looks like HarbourFront has some cool events going on July 11-13

Harbourfront Centre - Summer Festivals - Ritmo Y Color

Anyways, I have a idea, since we are located in different part of the area, it will be great we host meet-up in different member's local area, and we have that member to show us some interesting place for taking photo of.

Pass on this one but, how about some location data

I will be passing on this one as I plan to go a different direction on the 29th, but it would be useful for anyone planning one of these if there was a better way to get location.

I am in central etobicoke (hence a very long way from the zoo)

Closest highway exit is at N43 38.733 W79 33.787

Geez it's what, a 35 to 40 minute drive? Hardly "out there". Even an hour is OK, this is a large city.

The concern for me is that the zoo is JAMMED with people in summer on a sunday, i mean you can barely move. I usually go in April or late November and pray for a "warm" day.

Well i'm doomed. Lunch with the future brother in-laws parents. Joy. $10 says it's a gorgeous day too, just to spite me.

Sorry that you cannot make it.

City of Toronto, Arts Heritage & Culture - Museums & Arts Centres - The Guild

Here is another one that is pretty close to the ttc Scar Town Centre. After we have a brief meeting/get-together at TH, we can decide , weather permitting (very promising as per Alfisti) , where we are heading.

I have not been to Guild Inn Scarborough. But TPMG and Toroncolor.com had activities there . Maybe some of the forum members were there before . It is more of a portrait and landscape occasion. For the zoo, a longer lens is preferred

Daniel

Wasn't Pearson dead by then - lol. I was out of the country then, did you mean Peterson??

Guys, Postal Codes in Google work great.
