PPG approval time

How long does it usually take till your submitted photos at the Pentax Photo Gallery get either approved or denied?
I have one thats been sitting in there for like 2 weeks now..
Do they send you an email if it's been approved?

If it has been more than a week, then it means that the voters have accepted it and it is waiting on Pentax to say yes or no. Time can vary depending on the number of images waiting and the number of Pentax reviewers available.

How sure are you of that week criteria?

Because, so far as I can tell, they never tell you at what point your image is in the approval process, other than accepted or rejected or pending. I've had some booted in days, some went over a week, but no indication if it was peer review or the powers that be that said no thanks.

I've had pics declined in as little as two days and as much as two weeks. Never had one accepted so I don't know what the process is other than status under the thumbnail on your photos page.

It annoys me that when someone uses a Pentax camera with another brand lens, it gets listed as other.

I uploaded 13 photos I think are the best to them so far several days ago, want to know where I stand in photograhy... but it really feels like years...

The last couple I submitted sat around for 3-4 weeks and then I finally saw they had been accepted. Rejects happen pretty quickly in many cases, but not always.

I think 4 weeks is the average. It depends on how many people are really voting in there.

My yes or no's seem to average about 14 days. Lat round of 7 submitted resulted in 1 being accepted. It was the one i figured would be the first to be turfed.
Go figure.

I have never been emailed the results. I just check every Friday, if i have photos waiting.

but if you click on the [i] for info, you will get all those data in there.
