Photography in a Bar/Nightclub

Hey everyone it's question time again and today I'm at a crossroad about techniques in a bar/nightclub. I do a lot of photography for the bar I work at and was wondering what you would do or currently do in this situation for great photos? I'm currently using the K10D with Sigma 28 1.8 and the AF360 flash and it works awesome, leagues beyond what I was doing, but still feel there is more to learn or know to help. I've posted my pics on my blog and a story about my technique, but would love to get some input on other techniques and maybe a different strategy to try.

So tell me. How do you approach taking images in these bars and give me your standard procedure so I might understand what you are doing.
