In light of recently announced company name change — the only news they could think of for the dry period of summer in the northern hemisphere — and reflecting to the history of last 10 years of Pentax and Ricoh brands operations, Ricoh Imaging has concluded that now is the best time to introduce:
• new hi-end rumours
• possible new company name change
“Ricoh Imaging would like to thank our incredible customers; today, we have reached 1 billion Pentax FF rumours mentions on the Internet,” said Mr Hiraku Kawauchi, head of Ricoh Imaging. “The Pentax FF rumour completely transformed how users imagine their future Pentax cameras, the use of their legacy lenses, and created a thriving rumor-mongering ecosystem that has paid out over last 10 years over 1 billion clicks to its developers. We’re absolutely floored to cross this milestone in less than ten years.”
But Ricoh Imaging understands they cannot sit on the laurels forever. "Now is the time for us to help our community spread new, better, hi-end rumours. For the upcoming autumn shows, we plan to install booths with our representatives who will provide users with hands-on ideas and as vague as possible statements they can use to imagine future Ricoh Imaging cameras and spread new, exciting, hi-end rumours. "
And there is more; Ricoh Imaging understands quite clearly the necessities of the market demand — if they want to be all-present on a customer's radar, together with new rumours they need frequent company name change. "We have some remarkable ideas, and are exploring all avenues. Our people have faced some difficulties, but we're not giving up", Mr Kawauchi concluded.
New company name change is still under discussion, but stay tuned — you bet it is going to be very exciting.
