SR and tilting/swinging

Could the SR magnets be used to tilt and swing the sensor to control focus?

Another neat (albeit point&shoot) application of this would be to automatically correct the error introduced when recomposing after focus.

No, the image sensor can not move in that direction, only up/down and left/right.

I think he is asking if this would work IF the sensor was moveable in that way. I don't think it would as it would alter the register distance between the rear element of the lens and the sensor. This would play havoc with the optical geometries.
