50/71 sec ?

I was just browsing PPG and found this image with a speed setting of 50/71. This is new, to me; does it correspond to a third of a second, or something else?

0.70422535211267605633802816901408 of a second actually. Sometimes the exposure is expressed as a fraction, sometimes a decimal.

It's .7 seconds.
