I wonder - what specifications exactly do you like? What do you think the Alpha 700 offers you over, say, the Nikon D300 or the K10D?

Did I say anything about me liking the camera ? It's just announcement for people which company will bring new camera in next few days. So you have the answer, it was sony. I dont like it, I dont like the design

Well well.... what a big yawn that was. The specs really didnt seem to have anything interesting. I was surprised that it seems like it doesnt have live view... And only 5fps. It did have a high resolution screen tho. The shot comparing it to d40 and d300 makes it look a bit like a toy imo. Especially the top of it doesnt have a lot of buttons and no lcd either.

The more interesting question is where is sonys higher end model. They have kept a lot of FF lenses and were rumored to show a camera with > aps-c earlier this year.

This news section is only for the latest from the Pentax world- everything else should go in the 'General Talk' category. I've moved the thread for you. Thanks!
