Thanks for doing the math, Wendy.

I must admit, though, I'm probably the only person on the forum wanting the announcement to be 'no big deal'. I'm trying to save for a DA* 60-250mm and don't want to be tempted by a new body! :-)

Exactly, im holding out my funding till the new glass hits the shelf, i could always use my trustbucket of a K10 till the prices on the new body drop Still it would be a relief to put an end to all the guessing games lol.

Maybe it's a Canadian thing. I don't care about the new body, either. I just got the K10d and have no interest in another body. That 60-250 ... DA* 200 ... DA* 300 ...

Will my LBA ever be satified? Not a hope.

I'm still happy with my K100D as my every day camera, so a new body won't interest me very much.

He,he,he, I said the same thing last year. I was happy with a pair of DSs. I had no intention of buying a K10D. So what happened? I was the 5th pre-order from B&H, on the day Pentax announced the camera . Don't ask me why. I don't know, I just did it. I think it is a Pentax thing (kind of like a Jeep thing). So be forewarned. You can say you won't buy it now, but come that fateful day in January, ........... well, we'll see, won't we.

And another happy new year from Holland!

I don't know how I will respond to the new Pentax camera.
If it is as much better as it is whispered here on the forum, I might not be able to resist...

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL AND TO ALL A LONG WAIT.
Now that I have the body I wanted (Pentax that is) I have found new ways to improve my wish list for the year.
Some new (or used) lenses are in order.
And of course places to shoot.
New 20XDVD/CD burner with lightscribe.
and I found a great source for 8gb scandisk cards ($44.00 ea. with a $10.00 rebate total $33.00)
And yes a new Hard Drive may very well be needed (wanted ) (brings my total storage space to 2TB.)

So to all again Happy New Year.

Happy new year from my little corner in Canada. I hope everyone and their families will have a heathy and fun 2008. As the new Pentax gear gets shipped, I am sure the excitement level will grow here.

My istDs has turned 53,000 clicks but has slowed down as I am not using it for work any more. Looking forward to compliment my camera equipment with the new K20D, or just some new beautiful long glass...

My post was "cryptic"

In fear of my "NDA" it was all I could say.

Read "between the lines"
