I thought the church or whatever could do that but it is NOT the same as the OFFICIAL. The religious ceremony/function does NOT marry two individuals BUT the Administrative function, signing the register does - AND THAT is what makes it a Marriage.

It keeps people happy for the first few months otherwise, they never bring that photo out again.

This is just the usual daily mail overblowing,took some shots for a friends registry office wedding a year ago.The registrar asked folks not to take photos during the actual signing.She clocked the K10 and probably assumed i'm a pro (giggle),she then held all the guests up arranging a series of shots of them "signing" a blank page even suggesting a good angle so it was not obvious the page was blank.
