They're not confiscating SLRs at the gate unless you've got the appropriate press pass?

Wow. China is officially less suspicous of and hateful towards photographers than the Gabba.

If you're in Chine right now you would be buying your gear there because prices there are very, very attractive.

Now I know why he is taking so much gear. He is shooting Canon, and he has to have 5 or 6 each item because it will probably break. If I was going, I would take my K100D, my 18-55 kit lens, and my Tamron 70-300. Because that is all I own.
