A Texas cowboy walks into a bar and takes a seat next to a very attractive woman. He gives her a quick glance then causally looks at his watch for a moment. The woman notices this and asks, 'Is your date running late?'
'Nope', he replies,
'I just got this state-of the-art watch, and I was just testing it.'
The intrigued woman says, 'a state-of-the-art watch?'
'What's so special about it?'
The cowboy explains, 'It uses alpha waves to talk to me telepathically.'
The lady says, 'What's it telling you now?
'Well, it says you're not wearing any panties.
'The woman giggles and replies 'Well it must be broken because I am wearing panties!'
Kind of like the "That dress would look great on my bedroom floor." line.

Yeah, the watch is #637 of the Cussler special edition. I wanted one ever since Jacques Couseau started wearing one (he helped develop it) but I was a kid then. Cussler revived my desire and three years ago my lovely wife bought me one for Christmas.
While we are asking questions of each other, what the f!@# is the boot test?
The line that works for me here in the US is "Do you have any English in you? No, well would you like some?"

Man, I always wanted one of the black PVD Doxas, except with an orange dial instead of a black one.
The Boot Test is used to compare value-for-money between cameras. If someone comes up to you with a Canon ID Mk. III or a Nikon D3, saying theirs is a better camera in all aspects, calmy state that Pentax does better in the Boot Test.
The Boot Test is when you, with your Pentax, and the other guy, with his expensive Canon or Nikon both kick ("boot") your cameras (with lenses) into the nearest available body of water.
You then see who's more out of pocket, and that person's camera fails the boot test.
