farewell...

Well as some have noticed due to my marketplace posts I have sold up all my Pentax gear in the forums and have moved fully to Olympus... not due to any specific issues with Pentax, but more due to a *great* deal on an e3, 12-60 2.8-4, 50-200 2.8-3.5 and FL50R flash through work.

It has been just over 3 years with Pentax DSLR for me and I have enjoyed every minute of it ;-)

I just want to say also that I have met a lot of great people here (and on the 'other' pentax forum - though I dare not post farewell there) and I wish all of you the best of luck...

And who knows - in time, I may find myself in the position of being able to afford both systems...

Take care Joele. Enjoy your new equipment.

Damn! with all of these people leaving Pentax, pretty soon you'll be able to pick up FA 31's for $250 there'll be so many of them for sale.

Well, whether you choose to drop by now and then or not - have fun with your new equipment, and (most important) keep taking pictures.

Take it easy.

Thanks everyone... I'm sure I will pop past from time to time.. Actually I was going to order the Pentax - 4/3 adapter so I can still use the A series lenses (well any lenses but A manual focus generally feels better to me).. So I am sure I will still check out the lens forum from time to time..

Thanks Roentarre, btw I can always use your Pentax collection

Voigtlander lenses would be a treat on Oly though.

My adaptor is only shipped off yesterday.
