Pentax Forums First New Years Honours List

Since I joined this forum back in March, I have made some good friends , learnt an incredible amount and (I believe) my photography has improved by leaps and bounds, also I have seen some incredible photographs and images. And it's all thanks to members of this forum but I know I'm not alone.

In light of this I thought it might be a good idea to honour those people who have been outstanding in some way that has been positive for the forum and it's members.

I suggest that people who are interested in nominating someone add a post to this thread naming that person and their reasons for nominating. I also suggest that at least two other members should approve that nomination for it to be confirmed.
Note.
If you are nominating, title your post with the nomination.
If you are approving, title your post accordingly.

The List will be posted in the new year.

Let's see what categories you can come up with and let's have some fun ones as well. I have come up with a few suggestions:

Most popular Administrator - Adam (on a technicality).

This will be awarded to Adam each year ad infinitum.

mattdm has been posting some valuable information about the various flash options available to us and how they perform. He has also answered a great many questions on flashes when they have been posted.

So to thank him for his contribution to the forum I am making him the first nominee in these, hopefully, annual New years Honours Lists.

Gary, why would you have "the most annoying"? This ought to be a POSITIVE list in way of recognition not another reason the bash an individual(s).

I need t agree with the Matt selection.

Now, as far as most annoying, I can't seem to think of anyone who can rice to that honor.

I did say in my first post that we should have some fun ones as well. The one you mentioned was just a suggestion.

I agree that Matt has done wonders for my understanding on flash use.

I would also like to nominate Benjikan (I hope I spelled that right, my memory isn't what it used to be, LOL) for sharing his wealth of knowledge in post processing. Thanks to him I can make a photo "POP" right off the page.

I'd also like to chime in for mattdm in the helpful category. He really klnows his way around a flash and isn't afraid to share. It has been very helpful for me.
