So, what did Santa bring you?

In the spirit of the "Peter Zack Christmas Gift" thread...

What photo related goodies did everyone get.

Me, I got a Wacom Bamboo Fun (Sm) Graphics Tablet. Photoshop, look out now, theres a new editing tool controlling you now!

Giottos MT 9360 tripod with Giottos MH 1301-657 ballhead (both courtesy of Santa Steve)

Giottos 9300 series
Giottos ballheads

I am extremely pleased with the ballhead. It was more money than I was planning on spending, but it works so well! The tripod is well-made and very stable, though I am not sure if it meets my needs as well as I had hoped. Either way, both are a significant step up from my old Slik U8000.

Steve

P.S. Santa Giottos threw in a MV-8250 monopod as part of the deal! Ho! Ho! Ho!

My Secret Santa (myself) got me a 40mm 2.8 "old school" manual pancake lens. Been having lots of fun with it so far and will post pictures soon.

Take care everyone,

BJ

Seamuis, I'm 64 y/o.

About seven years ago I said to myself....

"Ed, you've have nice cars that were fast and good looking. You've have beautiful homes. Been married to a beautiful woman. But, you've never had a really good collection of tools."

So, I started building my collection of tools. I now have a complete (well almost) set of Mechanics hand tools and I'm bulding my collection of power hand tools.

I doubt if I'll ever really use most of what I have. But, when I need to do something around the house, I now have the tools.
