$1 postage storewide this weekend (with exceptions) - Australian store

A place that i often buy things - mainly when they have this $1 postage deal.

Bringing this up cause the store is plenty cheap already. I just bought 4x 4GB Sandisk Extreme III SDHC cards at $35.10 each (and no, i don't need all 4, 2 are for my sister) - real cheap since the cheapest in-store these days i can find is $65

And the exception to the $1 postage is IT and Computer stuff - no real biggy.

And i sure vouch for the authenticity of the products - i've bought lots of things from there... and i mean lots - never had any problems except one (where they accidentally sent me a refurbished mouse rather than brand new)

Anyway, thought people here might like this tip.

Keep the site in your bookmarks... in fact, subscribe to their newsletter...

You'll get some useless stuff/deals mentioned but they'll alert you to whenever they have the $1 postage... so you'll never miss the next time they have it

(iirc, they have it every few months - which i guess is a long time but still!)

They're a first stop for me when chasing memory cards or RAM,it's a pity they don't have any decent rewards to redeem.

$1 postage storewide this weekend - exceptions apply to computers and IT.... fortunately SD cards don't fall under computers and IT. So grab some cheap Extreme III's

Ummm ... I found that the cards do fall under the Computers/IT (Flash memory is a submenu of this) ... and you get charged the full shipping for it. It also includes Promotional Items as well ... so read the fine print. I have the invoice here stating.

I need a new USB drive and a card for one of the cameras ... so got it anyway.

Hm? If you go to Flash Memory submenu of Digital Cameras, they have $1 postage...

Booooo ... i got them from the wrong section.
Serves myself right to not check properly on a busy nightshift.
Then again ... i might look in the camera section and get another card .... hee hee
