Sandisks Ultra III 8G for 35 bucks at Abe's

Straight-up price, no rebate. That's the cheapest I have seen them from an authorized dealer since Black Friday. They also have pretty reasonable shipping costs (2.50).

Just thought someone may want to know, not sure if this is the right forum but anyway.

Here are the best deals I've been able to find on SD cards.

Micro Center - Search Results

16 GB for 29.99
8GB for 13.99
2GB for 5.99

Mmm... are you sure that is the link you wanted to show? Looks a bit overpriced to me, to be honest.

No, sorry, I thought you really had the wrong link. Not to sound snotty, but several of those cards you can find cheaper from many reputable vendors. Without looking too hard, for instance:
- the Sandisk 8GB class 2 is 37.99 + 5.99 S/H there and 18.95 from Adorama and about the same from Amazon.
- The PNY 8GB class 4 is 17.99 + 5.99 from them and 14.99 + 2.95 from J&R through Amazon.
- The Kingston 8 GB class 4 is 17.99 + 5.99 from them and 14.91 + free or (I think) ~ $5 shipping from Amazon.

Anyway, it doesn't matter, people can do their own searches and choose accordingly. I really thought you had made a mistake and had another link to cheap cards.

Sorry,

I'm acually talking about the Microcenter brand cards not the name brand cards (Ultra III etc). I've found that Microcenter's cards are just as good but I'm not the most computer savy.

I see, I never tried those. The price looks good, but as usual with SD cards reliability is the key. Have you used them for a while?

I've got a 512 card, a 1 gig card, a 2 gig card, a 4 gig card and a 8 gig card. I've owned the 512 card for about 3 to 4 years with no problem. The other cards I bought over time and I just bought the 8 gig card last week. I haven't seen any problems with them.
