A Sight for Sore Eyes . . . .

. . . . . our front walkway wet from a steady rain - something we haven't seen in weeks - East Texas is in a fairly serious drought and this should help. Wait a minute, I just realized that rain will make the grass grow enough to be mowed - and now that I'm retired my wife might make me do it; well, I guess most blessings are mixed.

A site for sore eyes indeed. Here's my version, inspired by yours. Although we had a little rain a week or so ago, today was our first good rain for three months.

On the subject of mowing lawns, I sold our mower and I pay a young guy to mow ours.

Hey you two would you like me to ship some snow ? Taken on 08th March just a few days ago. The weather is breaking here so hopefully in a few weeks we will have that nasty spring slush everywhere.

It's just that I still have about three times as much snow right now, and it really went down in the last weeks.

OK. I was expecting you to have no snow at all.

Sure, Dave - send it on down. I happy to see it's raining again today - pretty chilly too (46F) for this time of year - real winter weather for us!

No Thanks. It's mind-numbingly cold here already. 13C (55F) @10am. That's too cold to contemplate going outside.

I agree with ratmagiclady...you are kidding?

I woke up three mornings ago to -9F (-23C). We had a heat wave today though! It was almost 40F (4C)! They are talking 50 (10C) tomorrow! I'm almost giddy with excitement!

Only slightly. I have experienced cold weather in an earlier life. Winter in Detroit was about the coldest. But I've been living in a warmer climate for many years and my blood has thinned, I think.

I went to the supermarket about half an hour ago. 15C (59F) and turned the electric seat heaters on in the car.

Woose regarding the car heater. Try getting around on a motornike all year round. You dress for the rife then get a free sauna the moment you get off the bike.
Suppose I better post one of my soggy pics here as well.

Woose? If you haven't experienced thermostatically controlled heated leather seats, you don't know what you're missing.
