It's dropping around here also. $2.57 yesterday. Of much more importance, heating oil is back down to under $2.

Stockpile the heating oil for winter. That's what I do with propane. We will eventually have to do something else if this energy bill gets through the Senate. I have a wood stove stashed just in case.

Oil speculators have been part of the problem on prices gong through the roof over the past 6 years. Everyone likes to argue about price and demand but glaze over when you try to explain that both of those can be manipulated in various ways.

Last Friday I paid $3.11/gal for "marine" diesel on the Kemah TX channel. We fill up twice a year whether we need it or not.

Currently here in Athina....95 eurocents per litre = €3.61 per gallon = +/- $5.12 a gallon.
