Haven't used it myself (wife cut off my tool allowance when she found out I wasn't cheating on her, just buying tools) but the reviews are all good.

Through the years there have been many multi purpose tools on the market. Most of them have vanished because they are not nearly as versatile as they seem.

They are - JACKS OF ALL TRADES. MASTERS OF NONE.

Stick with the tried and true.
For small, delicate work these two are extremely versatile. -
Dremel (Great, easy to handle for small jobs.)
Fordham Flexible shaft machines. (mine is over 50 years old and works like new. Most jewllers use one.)
Both of them have a multitude of quality accessories.

For larger jobs a job specific tool will do it better and stand up to the demands made upon it.

Besides the review in one of the magazines I get I've seen them use it a lot on This Old House. Tom Silva loves it and they aren't sponsors. Fein also has a good reputation for quality.

And you know anything about power tools? At least they are respected professionals as am I.

Why do you always want to push the buttons? Let's keep this thread on topic.

I have had a Fein multi-master for about 10 years and it's held up well.
