But she is going to take a National Radio or TV job where she can practice and hone her talking points for the next 3 years... BIG money from that and the book tour speaking engagements... If the right is rabid over here at that point she makes a run for pres... If not she keeps on keeping on making the money.
She was never a real Gov so her quiting seems about right to me.
There are real problems facing the States... we need committed gov's to attempt to keep the states afloat. Not 'Personalities junkies'.
She sounded like she was on speed yesterday... rambling on non stop, barely taking a breath... what was the hurry? It was dang near incoherent
If she does run for pres... the question at each campaign stop should be.
So if things get tough and you are in a "lame duck" status, will you quit and give power to your Vice President? Never in history has a Vice Presidential choice loomed so large for a candidate.
I can't go anywhere yet until the little guy is up from his nap. Is graphicgrrrl around to tag team with you on this?
(PS: fox news sucks)
.
Is it you can't actually spell graphicgr8s or do you think I am a girl? *I'm just asking*
Blue you can't argue the point with *actual facts*
If Palin is so bad why are the left wing morons so afraid of her? She's not running for anything. She's not campaigning. So why do the leftist idiots keep going after her? Who is John Galt?
Actually, he went by that name in HS and at Occidental College. Yes, I'm saying the religious left is beyond racist.
Hrm. So *that's* all it is. Obviously, all the people calling a man named Barack a diminutive 'white people' name.... Were just referencing old yearbook photo captions.
I could see how you'd all be confused on that score.
Cause everyone who calls him 'Barry' is just being *chummy,* not trying to have some control over his identity. While for some other reason claiming 'The Religious Left Is Racist' when talking to someone either wing doesn't even admit is 'religious.'
Cause, obviously, he's been walking around glad-handing everone and saying 'Call me Barry' since 1970. And people calling him that is 'justifiable' as an excuse to say someone else is 'racist' because... A yearbook staff called him Barry, too.
Having been on a yearbook staff or two, I appreciate your recognition of the influence we've always exerted over the moral conscience of America, and I'm *so* glad you exposed the 'left-wing' racism of not calling our President by a name he doesn't use. How you must *suffer* under all this 'racism.' It's a travesty. Really.

Actually, I don't think it's so much *fear of Palin* as *fearing life in a country full of people who thought her potentially being President was some kind of good idea. *
Apart from her notion that despite a rather conspicuous failure of 'abstinence only education' in her own Assembles of God family, ignorant notions that didn't work in her own family under ideal economic conditions.... needed to be imposed on the rest of the country, by whatever means, including political dirty dealings and playing up the 'MILF' factor for conservatives n the name of the 'sanctity of marriage...'
It's not actually Palin we were afraid of. More like fearing her popularity was a sign our 'experiment in democracy' had already bit the big one.
It's really not *about* Palin, so much as what her thing said about *us,* and most particularly the things the GOP will blithely claim are 'good for ya, you betcha.'
Actually, he used the name Barry in High School and at Occidental. That's where it came from. Its no different than Dubya. He also used his sister's last name at one point.
So, you're saying it's OK if *you* do it, while claiming some un-cited racism of the 'Religious Left' and anyone else who somehow manages to not pathologically call him *Barry* in the year 2009?
So convincing. I'm glad you're such a beacon of tolerance.
You can duck the religious stuff all you want. What you are saying is that he isn't religious, he just went to J.W.'s church for the atmosphere and hung out with a couple of the other religious guys for their political power base. He also seemed comfy quoting the Koran during the Magic Carpet 1 tour of the M.E. He also went out of his way to be non-Christian at Georgetown by covering up crosses. You are totally missing the point of the left religious nuts, its the power base along with all of the other nuts like Alcee Hastings.
Actually, he *is* a Christian and went out of his way not to claim he was speaking for Christianity, cause he *is* a Christian, and an American, and respects both of these too much to confuse either.
And you're barking up the wrong tree if you think I care which Christian church thinks which Christian church is 'sinful.'
I'm not a Christian, and I don't believe anything about those books except what those books say Jesus said about how people like me were to *know* what Christians to figure on as real Christians.... who's a friend and who was 'promised dominion over nations' or whatnot.
That'd be knowing you by your fruits.
Not your names or excuses.
Especially not your excuses for attacking others (for no apparent or cited reason) as 'racist' while *being* racist and denying it. Cause you found a yearbook.
It's not really my problem, but I don't believe you, even on your own terms.

All he's done is apologize for being an American (and I use that term loosely) and a Christian.
And, if that's not enough, trust me. Calling our President 'Barry' when his name is Barack, like that gives you some 'power' over him, is a lo more 'racist' than anything you can try to ar him with about a crazy preacher who went nuts when the spotlight hit him.
Shouldn't even have been relevant, that. But if it *is,* then you shouldn't discount Palin's embracing of yer 'witchfinder generals' tearing up African villages like Cotton Mather's still alive.
Can't have it both ways. Never mind claim there's something 'racist' about Obama while trying to stick a 'slave name' on him.
Aah, yes! The radical left and right raising those ugly heads again. You know I used to have quite a bit of fun literally cracking those skulls but with age comes wisdom. It is much easier, and more entertaining, to let you all wipe each other out and then just waltz in to take it all. Cheers.
