The ultimate solution to become a great photographer?

Sony Party-shot IPT-DS1 - The “Automatic Photographer”

Sony Party-shot IPT-DS1 - The “Automatic Photographer” | PhotographyBLOG

Just sit back in a chair and watch as the camera does it all Maybe it will also automatically upload the shots to stock sites so they can sell and make you money too

Let me know when they'll automatically take a shot for me, in my style, process it for me, print it off, then market it for me.

Then I might be interested.

Sony needs to get out of the DSLR business and focus on Compacts and innovations like this. I can think of plenty of applications aside from parties where it could be useful.

Won't be long when these become the new sought after toys of Gen Y's facebook-driven worlds...

That isn't far from the truth,

I was recently asked to shoot a wedding, and just hand the couple the memory cards at the end. They were also only willing to pay me a couple of hundred. I politely regected their offer.

This device would have been perfect for them

Oh, a friend of mine sugested that I shoot their wedding entirely in Sigma RAW, then charge a nice rate processing it for them

but...but...what about all the people who only use their camera for Facebook or Myspace self-photos...they wont know when to make those silly faces or put their finger to their mouth, feigning surprise! This spells disaster for hipsters everywhere!!
