I just had something else, much more interesting, and I'll definitely won't post any photos.

The thing that really bothers me about being such a foolish and benighted heathen is just not *getting* all this sublime humor about eating Flipper.

Last time I had dolphin, it was delicious.

It was also kind of scaly and gilled at one point in its life... Coryphaenidae - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Blackened cajun spices and all... like an unbelievable lightshow of flavors.

For the record, I ended up making black bean burgers (we're 95% vegetarian here, so not unusual). Delicious.

Speaking of eating dolphins, I nearly massacred an alligator accidentally today. Was out mowing the lawn by the lagoon and after a couple of passes I found myself almost running into a maybe 5 foot 'gator who wasn't in a hurry to move. I eventually said to him, "look, buddy, I know you have the whole perfect predator thing going on and all, but you're really not going to win against a lawn mower" and he finally dropped into the water and laid there, glaring at me. They do seem to have a lot of personality and are therefore on my list of "things not to eat".

Same really goes for pigs, but damn, bacon is DELICIOUS.

Gator taste like chikin. I hate chikin.

Gators were endangered here a number of years ago. Correct management has no made them a nuisance. Now we have annual gator hunts to control them.
