A query for the B&H person on here

Sorry, I did a search to PM you but couldn't find you.

Any idea when the Metz Mecablitz 48 AF-1 is going to be back in stock?
Metz | mecablitz 48 AF-1 TTL Shoe Mount Flash | MZ 48312PS | B&H

Thank you.

It's a religious holiday week for the B&H folks, they aren'tsupposed to be working.

So indeed. Nice thing about this place, is they both send reps around. Both'd tell you you'd be welcome to call when they're open for business. As for what Metz is doing, I don't know if anyone necessarily knows. I was waiting on a smaller unit of theirs to come out in the US before my budget tightened, and there was no fanfare when it appeared. Those 48's seem to be a good seller, though: *someone* must have some.

Indeed.

*drumming fingers until Tuesday (their Monday)*

Maybe I'll put a wanted ad in the marketplace.

Henry drops in occasionally but AFAIK does not monitor this group.
Any customer service inquiries would be best directed to the store's CS email.

I confess I tend to come by when my Google Alerts tells me to. I'll try to become a more frequent visitor, but sometimes the squeaky wheels get the proverbial oil.

Our buyer says the 48 AF-1 for Pentax has been on order for some time. Metz is imported by Bogen, a generally reliable outfit. As soon as they have them, we will too.

We'll ship to your home or your work if it's in the same country as your home, but you cannot do this via our web site. You have to phone/fax/email for security reasons.

Another example of why B&H (and Adorama) keep getting my international business. They actually answer, even outside of their site!
