Byron Wheelie Contest 2009

This is what they do every October in Illinois. Wait till you see the Sunfire run.

Cool! Did that guy who flipped on his side and slid go again? As a former hotrodder, I love whatching these especially the Camaros. I saw a '78 yesterday similar to the one I had in drag gear; the big Mickeys in the back and runners on front. It was on a trailer being toed to a strip I guess. I really miss my car, wish I had kept it. I would have detuned it and just made it street legal to drive a blast from the past!

Yeah, the Sunfire went again.

What happened to your '78?

Ever go out to Houston Raceway, Houston Motorsports Park, or any of the weekly car meets?

I remember years back when Super Chevy had a Chevy II on it's cover doing a wheelie. Inside the magazine they showed how they took the picture... The car was put on jack stands and was Photoshoped removing the jack stands... Anyways, cool video... I've always enjoyed the pointy-nosed Camaros 70-73 and of course the 70 Chevelle SS LS5 or 6. Those were real cars.
