Phillies!!!!!

Wow, two World Series appearances in a row...what fan could ask for more? This is a special team we have here, I'm so excited for them. Can't wait to see who they end up playing in the Fall Classic. Any other Phillies fans in here? Let's celebrate!!

YES!!!

I can still name the lineup from the 1980 team, and if I think hard enough, the starting rotation!

The Yankees wrapped up the AL so now we can look forward to some good baseball. I hope this World Series will be as hard fought and exciting as the ALCS was.

With the Yankees winning Mets fans all over contemplate raming their heads into walls in order to save themselves from the media blitz that will be a Phillies - Yankees World Series

A Yanks-Phils WS is not this Mets fan's worst nightmare.
After all, one of the teams must lose!

be fair. mitch williams was not the reason we lost in 93 (he was over-used and shouldnt have been in during some spots) yea, he threw the pitch....but...anywho...

phillies in 6 sounds good. definetly splitting in NY, thinking we grab game one (lee has been awesome, and the phillies are not scared by CC..we owned him last post-season with a lineup just as potent as he has in NY).

And one of these days, A-Roid will remember he's playing in October and shrivel up, as per usual.

I don't care who is playing the Yankees, I just want them to whip the snot out of 'em !! Plus, I am a National League guy anyway, so I always root for the NL. And, Ryan Howard is a local guy, I live about 5 miles from where he went to high school, so I'll be rooting for him to pound the Yanks pitching.
