I live in NY, near Lk. George. I'm not familiar with Burlington at all. My trips to the area have been service calls a couple of times to refrigerated trucks being used for stationary storage. A lot of ski area's have alpine slides and there are several within a short drive from Burlington. The bridge being out is going to cause problems to some of the ski areas in that part of Vermont, especially Sugarbush. It was always a long drive to get there but you could drive up the Northway to Schroon Lake and cut across 74 to Ticonderoga and drive up to the bridge. Now you have to exit at Glens Falls and head up to Rutland and drive north, around 120 miles on winding 2 lane roads. Nice for summer motorcycle rides, sucks in the winter.
