It's called "play". It's a sign of intelligence. If we can't play with our tools and have a laugh we are in deep deep trouble.

P.S. Heinlein is a good source of cheap quotes, most of which are just plain wrong. Many of which are from embarrassingly bad books filled with cheap Libertarian thinking and overt sexism.
