K-30 Live View display in M mode

...my K-30 set in M Manual Mode in Live View will track the exposure adjustments by lightening or darkening the LCD image display based on the over or under exposure settings of the K-30.... my K-01 set in M Manual Mode will display a constant correct LCD exposure in M Mode regardless of the under or over exposure settings of the K-01... ...I want to be able to have a constant (no lightening/darkening) LCD display in Live View M Mode on my K-30, what is the menu setting that controls LCD exposure variability of the K-30 LCD ???

I don't think you can change this behavior as the K-30 is a DSLR. If you always want a bright image, use the viewfinder or try one of the other modes. I'm not 100% sure that there isn't an option to change this behavior, but I think it makes sense that there there shouldn't be one.

...thanx for the quick reply...you may be correct...I do a lot of studio shooting with studio lights or strobes, and my preferred method is M Manual with Live View and single handed shooting with a pancake or small prime...I use the K-01, OMD-EM5 and A65's for this and all works well but there are menu selections to keep the M lcd image from reflecting the ambient light based on the exposure settings that the camera is seeing...I suppose it could be that the K-30 is simply a different animal in comparison to a true "mirrorless" camera ...but I'll still find lots of other uses for the K-30 as it will be a far more convenient shooting experience in the great outdoors with the glass viewfinder...
