Cool! Just a suggestion, but another site I visit has a private forum section for donators. That'd be cool to have here. Also, I'd like to donate here, but don't have paypal or a credit card. Could you arrange a way to send cash or something?

I've actually considered adding a private forum earlier, but I've found it would be useless since it would just drag away from the sense of community. They're great for some communities, but definitely not for ours

Cool. I guess that on some sites where there are too many members to have a sense of community, private forums can be nice. If you see me post that I have finally saved up enough for a Sigma 70-200, remind me to PM you

- I have been on many forums and donated on so few , but with the people and knowledge here , I have learned so much - and yet have so much to learn - glad to donate my humble contribution to help the cause. Plus this bumps the thread back to the top where it belongs eh

I sent in my donation today. I know the costs of running a successful website can be prohibative. Web and/or server space can get costly. I hope my small contribution will enable you to continue to run this great site. If the frequent users, such as myself, would all just send in $20 it would be a sign that we are sincere about keeping this site moving forward.

We're currently breaking even on site costs, but server renewal time is getting close, and all current donations will help fund that. After the server contract is extended, we will focus on having a custom homepage designed and coded!

I sent a little money, I like the site but I wish the pages would open a little faster, takes about 30 seconds for a page to open. So I hope they don't charge you alot.

Hmm...30 seconds means that there must be something wrong with your internet connection. There aren't any server problems that I know of!
