Lens Review Database Changes

Today, as long-requested by many users, I moved all K-mount zoom lens categories to the Lens Review Database homepage. You can now access every single bayonet category with a single click from the database index! I hope this change makes browsing easier; however, note that if you would like to search for both primes and zooms simultaneously, you will now have to use the advanced search feature found in the upper-right corner of the page.

Additionally, I've uploaded 3 new lens photos, and added the DA 17-70mm F4 AL [IF] SDM to the database. As usual, if you own a lens of which we do not have photo, we would appreciate it if you could supply us with one. Please PM me for information on where to send photos.

In the future, I also plan to launch a portal (with a unique domain) to the lens database, complete with links to every category and historical as well as technical information on Pentax lenses. Once that's complete, I plan on adding a category for the 6 Pentax bayonet teleconverters as well.

Enjoy!

Hi Adam.

I just want to say that the lens review database is a great resource.

The work put into it is much appreciated, as well as the user contributions of course.

Many thanks

Wow. Good work there. And I agree with the distinct domain idea. I sometimes get the impression the great resource is rather buried here.
