Fisheye Fever Club -- Flaunt your fisheye photos!

Who among us is a fisheye fan? Why not a have a thread dedicated to fisheye photos?

I'd welcome a discussion of fisheye lenses, techniques, images, and postprocessing.

To start things off, here's an image

(ME Super, Zenitar 16mm f/2.8 MC Fisheye, Fujichrome Provia 100F)

an interesting list of fisheye lenses
- The Fish List -

and a plug for some postprocessing software
hugin - Panorama photo stitcher

I've never used hugin for stitching, but it seems to work quite well for de-fishing, projection, and perspective adjustment of single images .

a couple from my Pentax 10-17

I really want to love this lens... but the jury is still out for me.

But here are some decent shots I took with it a bit ago:

I will join this too. Da 10-17mm FE

For boring scenery, this lens adds a little interet

Symmetry of a temple posts - Names of various Taoism figures and words like "silence" "quiet" "Solemn"

Greek Church - Fringeholic!

The beach light

Temple of Shogun

Tori Gate

Burglar decorated by autumn colour

Not sure what I was up with this one...

Twisted waterfall

Bamboo forest abstract

Castle

If you use FE zoom like this one, GO FOR 10mm!!!!

Fisheye

Great thread guys and great shots one and all. I've always been intrigued by the fisheye but never took the plunge. Dan - that is an awsome shot in the railway tunnel. Frank - I'm still dizzy (in a good way) from looking at your series. That distorted perspective can be very powerful.

Sorry, no picture but how about starting a competition in the 'mini games and challenges' section?
Nice shots by the way. I'll see if I can find a picture to post.

Here's a fun one of my nephew, a good demonstration of the inherent dangers of getting the lens too close to small children.

Here are some with my recently acquired sigma 15mm fisheye.

And with this second one, tell me what you think: would the DA 10-17 have shown some CA in this same situation?

So far, the sigma has produced 0 CA or PF! I am very pleased with this lens!
