Thank-you for your review of the Vivitar DR-5000 ring flash. You mentioned that it gives good exposure on Automatic at f/8 /w ISO 200. How have you found the flash exposure in the f/18 range ? Any desire for a ring flash with more manual power options ? e.g., Sunpak DX8R or other manual ring flash

The IQ is ok on the 50mm, I think! Check the edges of the applepics in this post:

They are uncropped, just downsized to 1024x. And it's so cheap.

Hi! When I took out both C-mounts I saw that they are the same dimensions! The Fujian 1.4/50mm has the Q-adapter mounted.
The SMC-Pentax is mounted to an Micro 4/3 adapter. The Q-K adapter is about twice the optical length of the M4/3-K adapter.

Hi Gibby! The 50mm is much smaller than for instance the SMC Pentax 50mm + the K-adapter. It's a little bigger than the 35mm but not much. Not more difficult to carry round in your pocket. IQ I think is more or less comparable between the two [35/50mm]. Only reason I've used the 35 & 25 mm more is that I've had a short tele period. I'll post a picture of the both together so you can compare the respective sizes after the weekend. Thanks/Erik
