Hi there, I used to hack a few things in my past as well, even wrote my own tools back then (that was in the good old 8 bit times, though). I always wanted to hack my Pentax firmware, but I expect this to be much more poking in the dark because you don't know ANYTHING about the i/o hardware inside, i.e. you cannot even tell which code interfaces what. It's all proprietary, I guess, or the chips they use are not publically documented, right?

Do you know more? I mean, is there a good chance to actually understand parts of the code, and gradually even understand how to interface the hardware?
