Hi Ernest,

I finally got my Chinese split prism focusing screen.
I read one horror story about the install and several saying it was a piece of cake. Well mine was more the horror than the cake.
I have a K200D. It was hard to get the release clip to realease. Once I did everything popped out including the old screen and a metal shim. No mention of the metal shim in the utube video. I put it in and finally got it closed up, but poor focusing and junk all over the screen. Re did it and put the metal shim on top of the screen and now it appears to be working.
You absolutely need it for the lens I got from you.
I just bought the Pentax 55-300 lens. I just love it. I had convinced myself that I didn't need the reach although I was coming off a Panasonic P&S 12X zoom.
