JG, I just wanted to offer a sincere thank you for your help in that camera deal and your work is not yet complete! There is no way I could have done it without your help. Someday my friend, we will have to have a beer or 2 on one coast or the other (maybe meet in the middle). But if we do, keep an eye on that Sigma 500mm! It might just get mixed up with my luggage!!

Oren, That Sigma 100-300 f/4 is an amazing lens. While many '' DA*'' folks hate to hear it, it is true. The MC4 is a 1.4tc and the MC7 is the 2.0.
my Tamron 2.0 is not the MC7, So I look forward to seeing how your images turn out. Please post them.

Hey Javier,
I just received a Tamron MC7 TC but still haven't given it a good test. I recall you saying you have a Tamron 2x TC but don't remember which one. Is it the MC4 or MC7? I remember you saying yours left your images flat. I'm going to try to get out today if we get some sun here in Seattle and test in good light. Will let you know the outcome.

BTW, thanks again for directing me to the Sigma 100-300 f/4. I love it! Great versitility and IQ and cann't beat the price.
