came across your name re: modified glass from a seller you spoke well of and clicked on your pictures (they are outstanding, to me, that level of photography is fantasy). I noticed you were from Singapore. I am visiting your country soon with my wife just a week.
Now to the question.
Seemingly you have dealt with quite a few people here and probably bought some equipment from the US. Recently I bought a PentaxM 50/1.7 from heliphoto. he only wished to deliver to US addresses, I asked him to mail the address to a friend in California.
if I asked my california friend to mail this lens ($45 shipped per our transaction) would it arrive at another friend's place in Singapore in time (we stay from October 28 to Nov3). And would Singapore charge tax for it? And how much would this tax be, if ever.
