Still at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills...
Actor John Ritter, son of singer Tex Ritter, appeared in really bad and popular TV sitcoms, such as "Three's Company", and I always though him a buffoon. However, he secured my admiration and respect as the gay store manager in "Sling Blade".
English Actor/comedian Marty Feldman was notable for his diverging bulging eyes caused by Graves disease. He was in Mel Brook's "Silent Movie" and "Young Frankenstein".
Leo Durocher was a Hall of Fame baseball player for 4 teams, and manager of 5 teams. A good fielder and not so great batter (.247 lifetime), he was ejected from the game 95 times as a manager, placing him 4th on that list.
Oswald "Ozzie" Nelson was a band leader and singer. Harriet Hilliard also sang in the band. They married in 1935. Ozzie started the radio show "Here Come the Nelsons" which used actors as their children until 1949. The show went to TV as "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet", and included their children, David and Ricky.
Near Ozzie and Harriet is their younger son Eric "Ricky" Nelson. He was somewhat of a teen heart-throb singer, and sometime actor. He had 19 top 10 hits, the last being in 1972 with "Garden Party". He died in a plane crash.
