Weekly Date Challenge #3 June 1

I wanted to pick a date that was not too recent but still in this year and with a spring/summer feel to it, since last one was may I went for june and 1st was a sunday this year so I am thinking chances were higher that someone shot something. Hopefully the people who didnt have anything on may 25th will have something for this one.

Here is the fine print from the lawyers:

The date for challenge #3 is June 1

The winner for #3 will be picked on Thursday June 26

The winner each week will pick the next date and host the challenge and pick the winner.

Here are the rules which should carry forward from week to week

The rules:
1. Post ONE photo (max 800x800) as a response to THIS post and can be a digital photo or a scanned photo.
2. The photo must be taken on the date of the challenge and can taken in any year.
3. You can offer as much or as little additional information as you wish.
4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The challenge host will pick the WINNERS and and the first place winner will host the next challenge and pick the next date.
6. The challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.
7. Any Pentax camera will do or a Samsung DSLR.

Previous Challenges (Winner): #1 March 17 (LaRee), #2 May 25 (and), #3 June 1

Good luck.

Well, June 1st 2007 was a Friday so no shots on that day from me. This year I took a couple random shots of birds at my feeder. Nothing serious, just had to trip the shutter on something that day I guess. I'll see if there is anything presentable to submit.

It does look like it was a good day for many already though!
