Post Your PPG Rejects

With all the talk about the PPG and what gets rejected/accepted, I thought it would be cool to see everyone favorite rejections. I suggest posting 2 or 3 of your faves that got shot down for the PPG.

Even though I try to be selective with my submissions, I've had quite a few shots rejected. I have no idea why and really don't care because I like them, which is all that really matters in the the end. So, rather than complain about the selection process, I say we show off some pics that we like.....even if the PPG didn't.

Here are a few recent ones that "crashed and burned"...

Here's a link to the ones that managed to sneak in: PENTAX Photo Gallery

OK, here are some of the ones I had rejected.

And, I probably understand why they were.

It's a Banana Spider.

There's nothing there that says if it's poisonous or not. But, I didn't take any chances either. I kept my distance.

Hi Alan, your link only goes to PPG not your pics.
Good idea for a thread, if I ever take any shots that are good enough to be rejected, I will certainly look for this thread.

On a lighter note, I was going through the directory of artists on PPG I noticed that there is someone who has shots on there whose name is Mo Ho. Of course if you look at the directory, that's not how his name is listed.

Hmmmm....when I clicked on the link, it took straight to the page. Did you let it load fully?

Anyway, here's the complete link: PENTAX Photo Gallery: Artist Bio - Alan Abrams

I'll play. I've only submitted two and not shocked they weren't accepted, but even so they are two of my most favorite shots I have ever taken in my life.

Not afraid to admit that this one was complete, utter, blind luck that I even remembered where the shutter button was at that moment.

I just really like how this came together even though it's a bullseye composition.

I just have to say that this thread shows some very good images. From what I've seen there really is no rhyme or reason for what they accept. I've seen them accept images that I wouldn't think belong, and I've seen them reject plenty of images that are gallery quality. Just no telling how an image will get accepted imho.
