gawan: Nice fence shots. The textures and arrangement complement each other nicely.

Syb: I like that frog very much!

borno: that first bird has lots of character -- good moment!

Thanks for the positive comments on my Orchid shots.

Tran : nice portrait that, well done. To answer your question, many are from my own garden, but it helps when you works at the local Botanic Gardens, as I do

Georg : interesting use of Railway sleepers (as we call them in Aus)

Dave : really like those fountain shots.

Alan : your series of Tractor shots aree just great. Really impressed with the vibrant colour.

Rollsup : what a great capture.!!

Well done all!

Tran, Good portraits and model shots all. The last one is very good but she looks very uncomfortable. Interesting choice of location.

Georg, is that a fence with the railway ties? (That what they are called here). Good shots and an interesting semi-abstract look.

Dave, very nice fountain shots, you ever use that Bigma any more?

Alan, I like the tractor shots. Old and new. Great colour. Not bad for a city boy!

Rollsup, Excellent shot of the fox. Very cute. He looks like he's hunting.

Thnaks Peter . It's funny you should ask that - not so much lately - I have a couple trips comming up over the next few months and early next year and have been debating more 'equipment'. K20D, 31ltd, DA* 300mm are the top contenders at this point. So over the next several weeks I am going to take a good long hard look at what I have and sell some stuff.

I truley suck at letting things go - so far on this forum I have sold a DA 12-24 and a K10D , so far on this forum I have purchased (amoung other things) a DA 12-24 and a K10D

The Bigma is one lens I will look closely at for selling.... it's a great lens there is no doubt and I have some fine picutures with it, but for my current interest (Landscapes / Architecture) it may be one I can let go and better servered by another lens

Thanks for the comment!
Yes, it's kind of a fence, but actually an art work in a park where there used to an old railway yard, for people to remember the history of that place...

I haven't posted for a few days but not for lack of pictures. I've been busy with a bit of a buying spree... three new lenses are on their way. But my big decision is whether to give up my FA77. I know that sounds like madness, but I could then maybe get a K20D.

I don't use the FA77 as much now I have the Vivi Series 1 105mm. Though the Limited is smaller, lighter and faster the Vivi is fast enough 90% of the time, has more reach and (of course) macro.

To help make the decision I took the FA77 out for a walk. I'm tending to do more candids, so that's what I came back with.
