Anyone good with photoshop wanna do some kind of map plotting the route?

Toronto to Ohio currently...
It would be cool if the photos were posted on panoramio, especially if it travels around the world.

Can we make this an international thing? I'm over in Hong Kong and I'd like to do my part.

We should get a list going of who has had the lens and who will be getting the lens so we know where it's going and when we could expect to be getting it.

I'll make a new thread and maybe we could get it stickied so everyone can refer to it as this thread continues to grow.
We could also post the pictures in the same thread.

I work at sea and get to "travel" due to the jobs nature. I could also be part if accepted to this set? How is this done?

Oh btw, my residens is in Helsinki Finland (we just have a snowstorm here with lightning and some +15cm of snow).

It seems like a very long queue. However, I would like to have a chance with the lens as well. My part of Aussie would be worth a few shots.

How's the trip of this nifty fifty nomad lens going? Can I have it in Albania? I bet I'm the only Albanian in these forums, and probably the only Albanian in my country with a Pentax DSLR.

I'll put my name down for this one .... maybe once/if it gets to Australia ... we pass it to each other along the way ... and then the last person on-sends it overseas.

It'd be great to shoot with it down under at this time of year ... the weather is pretty nice.

It's great to see this much interest

I would totally like to see the lens make it off the North American continent at some point.
In fact it would be nice to see it in every continent along the way...

Hi all

On the lens cross over to Europe, if it comes by me (Azores Islands) I will be happy to participate on this journey and contribute with pictures.

That was a really nice idea

Cheers all

I am definitely in

Does anyone think it would be a good idea to limit the time each person has the lens to 1 week? That would ensure it goes to as many people as possible during its 1 year travels. Just a suggestion...

Given how late I am in the thread, I would expect to receive it sometime in the Autumn (Fall), which would be perfect for New England photography.

Go fly, little 50, go!

If it's in Albania it might as well come here too! I love the idea of the travelling 50.

We've already set a time frame of 8 days per person upon arrival at their door... see earlier post...
Having said this I would rather not see people hounded, as this journey is about forming trust and good karma... and building something special for Pentaxians ( lol)

The fun thing about it's journey is that we don't know where it's going next as each person is kinda reliant on the previous to make the right choices...
