I got inspired of this thread and went to the streets. Yes sir, it really is fun. Here comes my first crappy one. Didn't have time to shoot more those guys.

Actually, it is not crappy at all. Infact it is quite good. Good street action there. I look forward to seeing more.
wow Javier, these protest photos are awe inspiring. truly. I really envy that you have access to such things. here on the southern east coast you just don't see these things almost at all. I really enjoy looking at your street photography as it really is my true love concerning photography. you are inspiring to say the least.
makes me want to fly out to LA and spend a few days with you taking photos.

Thank you seamuis. I appreciate the kind words. In having spent some time in your website, I can see the brilliant work you do and you capture the very essence of street photography. If ever in L.A. let me know and we will go out.
One thing I really need to do is go out in the evenings.
On a second note, the majority of my street shooting, I do with film. I find it more inspiring and frankly easier. The only draw back, is I usually only have one shot at the capture.
Thanks again and post up some of your captures when you get a chance.
most of my work is film as well, that's precisely why none of it is on my site. to be honest I rarely update that site. I have yet to find a quality film scanner that delivers results that are worth the film I use at a price I can afford. (this will be even more complicated as I have just dived into MF with the 6x7.) so most of my photos are seen by friends and family. I can assure you the streets and squares of downtown Savannah, know my MX very well.
and I will certainly take you up on that offer, if such a situation becomes possible.

I know what you mean about the film scanner. For the most part I am happy with my HP G3010 and VueScan software. It has enough options to turn off where it won't screw to much up.
Some fascinating images here! I've got some which I didn't realize will fall under 'street'... though some I knew... these were taken in Raleigh and India
she was cold for sure...

Now that I think about Javier, I should try this out more often...
