Good shots-very grainy PP but I think that is what you were aiming for. Lind of grainy sepia.

Yea, I am after that old vintage grainy look. The sepia to add that faded photograph look.

Grain could be a tad too much for my tastes. I like the composition of the first shot in that series. I'm just drawn to that knee on the head!

Thank you. I will it tone the grain down a tad. I thought It was a bit much as well.

These look better as far as grain goes. I think I like the sepia effect better with cleaner less grainy contrast like #5. Just opinion-no wright or wrong in art which includes photography. Go with what feels right for you.

I have a couple here taken some time ago now from a non-pentax camera. Taken in China/Tibet.

Fractal, some nice shots there. The girl in red, like a crazy illustration of child-labor.

Here are some more indoor street-shots from Sweden, K-7 with DA15ltd and usually 1600ISO.

#1 "Baloon girl"

#2 "Red head 1"

Played around with the built in digital filters and processing in the K-7 on this one.

#3 "Red head 2"

Also post-processed within the K-7. I think she is laughing about that silly guy with the camera...

#4 "Son and mother"

#4 version 2 "Son and mother"

Also post-processes within the K-7, one can do some fun things there.

#5 "baloon boy"

#6 "Baloon girl dreaming of ice cream"

Also post-processed in the K-7.

Non-Penatx camera?? Is there such a thing? Nice b/w and minimal color shots. They represent what I've felt about my many trips to China. That it is gray there even in the presence of color, due to the system sucking out the color.

Love her mouth in this-great shot!
#2 "Red head 1"

Yeah Balloon girl wins my heart again.

Also post-processed in the K-7.

Mark, Thanks.

Yeah you are right. I fell right into documentary style photography on my second stay because thats how the people looked in real life. The system certainly has a strangle hold on things. And recent reports from my western friends say the internet cencorship is getting ridiculous. Youtube has been out for a long time now.. facebook, etc etc. No one is to have any fun and communication is to be kept to a minimum and supervised.

Unfortunately, most Chinese just go about their way and don't care much to oppose the ever increasing lack of freedom.

Bbluesman, loves number 2 (crisp and sharp BW, good composition) and 4 (nice colors and great capture).
Javier, 1 and 4 (fine portrait with good eye contact) are my favorites. Number 1, is that one of the aliens in "V"?
